2. Adopting MLA installation technology, compact size
The VCSEL module uses a VCSEL array with many light-emitting channels on the surface, and a microlens array (MLA) that integrates the lenses corresponding to each light-emitting channel on a single chip. As a result, a VCSEL module is more compact because it has fewer components than a traditional edge-emitting laser module.
2. Wavelength stability at different temperatures
VCSELs can provide relatively stable wavelength characteristics across changing operating temperatures. This can be beneficial in optical systems where wavelength consistency is important for maintaining stable system performance.
For applications involving laser crystal excitation or other wavelength-sensitive optical systems, the VCSEL module can be combined with appropriate thermal management and optical components according to the required operating conditions.
The VCSEL laser module can be used in laser processing, laser demonstration, laser medicine, and other optical applications. Depending on the system design, the module can integrate components such as a laser gain chip, optical lenses, frequency-conversion optics, and other optical elements.
